Urban Growth commissioned Unsigned Studio to concept and produce a community engagement film. Following a process of research and story development we identified a dynamic and effective approach to the film that would successfully communicate the transformative impacts that this new program would have on the community.
By integrating advanced object animation into before and afters of the actual sites of development, the film presented the future for Newcastle in its best light. We used techniques and mediums such as CGI, camera projections and sound design to build atmosphere and realism into the film to enhance the visual experience. A narrative thread was weaved throughout the film by integrating real community engagement interviews with members of the public.
