What is an ICCID number? 

Integrated Circuit Card Identifier (ICCID) is a unique identification number assigned to every SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card inserted into a mobile device. The ICCID is a 19 or 20-digit number used to identify a specific SIM card and authenticate the subscriber on the mobile network. 

How to find my ICCID number?

Finding your ICCID number is easy. On an iPhone, you can go to Settings > General > About and scroll down until you see “ICCID.” On an Android device, you can go to Settings > About phone > Status > SIM status and look for the “ICCID” option. Alternatively, you can remove the SIM card from your device and find the ICCID printed on the back of the card. 

What is the structure of an ICCID number?

The structure of an ICCID number consists of three parts: the Major Industry Identifier (MII), the Issuer Identification Number (IIN), and the SIM serial number (SSN). The MII is a two-digit number that identifies the industry that issued the SIM card. The IIN is a six-digit number that identifies the SIM card issuer, and the SSN is a variable-length number that identifies the individual SIM card.
